WAPOL Football have claimed the first result in First Responder Soccer Academy Championship Series history, defeating the St John WA Red and Green Team 6 to 3 in the founding match of Australia's first responder football championship.
The win lifts WAPOL to first in the inaugural rankings and installs them as the number one contender for the vacant First Responder Soccer Academy Championship Belt.
St John WA now face DFES Football in a contender match, with the winner earning the opportunity to challenge WAPOL for the inaugural belt.
